This is probably my least successful project I have ever done in this class. We were in panic mode by the time the deadline started to come around. What began the unsuccessful streak of events was when our interviews with the Grindline director fell through, and then our interview with local Manchester legend Zed fell through as well. we then realized that we would have to wait until the documentary to make what we actually wanted to make, and make sacrifices to this news story. Three times when we were all set up to film an interview in an outside location it quickly started pouring. On top of this, we didn't get all the b roll shots we were looking for, but we made what we had work. Finally, upon realizing that we weren't going to be able to interview who we wanted, we decided to interview Oscar. When we were all set, with the camera set to his eye level and everything, he decided to bail and leave us to our own devices. Our last hope was Griffen Benjamin, who did a good job under the circumstances. Our lack of lighting for the Mr. Hunter interview was also a problem, but we fixed that in post. When I finally finished the whole thing, half the clips decided to stop working, which also was a bump in the road. This was definitely a massive learning experience, which can only improve my skills in the future.
